In Mexico, the word "casero" means "homemade," the type of food that is served in households all over Mexico, dishes that nourish your body and feed your soul- this is the style of cooking that best represents Hacienda Cocina y Cantina. With a menu created by famed Chef Andrea Blanco, and the kitchen helmed by the talented Executive Chef Octavio Hernandez, Cocina y Cantina features Mexican specialties from the Oaxaca, Puebla, Guerrero and Veracruz regions. Hacienda Cocina y Cantina uses locally and regionally grown produce that Executive Chef Hernandez personally selects in order to feature the highest-quality ingredients.
To complement the cuisine, guests can choose from a variety of Mexico's best tequilas, locally brewed beers, handcrafted cocktails or a selection from the extensive wine list. The wine list contains a large number of wines grown, harvested and bottled in Mexico, many from the up and coming Guadalupe Valley, a perfect accompaniment to the authentic regional cuisine at Hacienda Cantina y Cocina. Hacienda Cocina y Cantina also offers unique rum infused elixirs known as Curas- deeply rooted in the cultures of Mexico and much of Latin America "Curanderismo" is a holistic system of folk medicine to enhance the physical, spiritual, psychological and social needs of the people who use it.
